THM Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month with Live Music, Dancers, and a Vintage Car Show!!

The Tulare Historical Museum will host its first big event since closing its doors during Covid. In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month (Sept. 15 – Oct. 15), the museum will feature live music by Rosalinda Verde Alexander, a Richard Torrez Jr. display, art exhibition, outdoor food, vintage car show & folkloric dancers. All activities will be held on Saturday, Sept. 25th from 12-4pm. The live musical performance is scheduled for 12-2pm and the folkloric dancers will perform at 2pm.


The art exhibition, Embracing Identity: Celebrating Hispanic Culture in the Arts, will be on display in the Heritage Art Gallery from Sept. 16 – Oct. 23, with an opening reception on Friday, Sept. 24 from 5-7pm. The display, Richard Torrez Jr.: Upholding a Tulare Family Legacy, will also be on view from Sept. 16 – Oct. 23, in THM’s Depot Gallery.
