"Glenn & Jeff Edwards"

Our Sunday @ 2 program will start at 2:00 p.m.on Sunday, February 19, 2012, in the museum's Heritage Room with a 30-minute skit by brothers Jeff & Glenn Edwards. They will be on hand for questions and discussion. They will present their historical skit on the killing of Jim McKinney. He was Porterville's notorious outlaw and was killed in Bakersfield in 1903, but not after having shot up the town of Porterville in 1902 and killing his friend Billy Lynn. McKinney was the last horse-hunted outlaw of the old west. This and other historical skits are residue of the Sesquicentennial and are presented to service organization and clubs free of charge.

Jeff Edwards has written over 50 books. He is a historican of Tulare County. He is past president of the Tulare County Historical Museum where he served for 20 years.

The Tulare Historical Museum will be open to the public for free on Sunday, February 19, 2012, from 12:30-4:00 p.m. You may come in and visit the museum for free and view your favorite displays. Refreshments will be served and admission is free.
